I am fascinated by Chuck Close's work of art. He is very talented and has a completely different way of painting, especially portraits. This portrait is called Emma and he did it using the grid technique. After everything is drawn, he paints each grid differently, with different designs in order to produce a glass like appearance. This one gave me the inspiration to paint my own painting similar to this.
