This painting was done by Pablo Picasso in 1907. The work is portraying 5 nude women who are supposedly prostitutes from Barcelona. I find it interesting how none of them actually portrayed as feminine. Their bodies are made up of angular and disjointed shapes. Picasso had created each of the women differently. The crouching woman figure seems to have been drawn from two different perspectives at once, creating a confusing, twisted figure.
